15th Annual Portland Roast set for February 18, 2010

The annual Portland Roast Festival, presented by Wells Fargo, is shaping up to be a showdown of words in a town that is generally known for its politeness. Attended by the who’s who of Portland, the annual event will feature the traditional roast by the Hacks and Flacks, hosted by Kerry Tymchuk with special appearances by Portland’s Poison Waters/Kevin Cook and music by world-renowned saxophonist, Mike Phillips and Grant High School’s Royal Blues. Portland Schools Foundation Connects Warm Coats to Local School Kids in Need

Recently, Columbia Sportswear partnered with the Portland Schools Foundation to provide over 75 warm winter jackets to the Portland Council PTA Clothing Center. The Clothing Center delivered those coats to students in Marysville Elementary School, who did not have a winter jacket as a result of the schools devastating fire. Click here to read more.
